Kidepo Valley National Park is Uganda's most spectacular wilderness, spanning over 1,442 km² of arid savannah, rugged mountains, and expansive grasslands. Located in the remote northeast, it offers an untouched African adventure.

Famous for its diverse ecosystems, Kidepo is home to over 80 mammal species, including cheetahs, lions, and rare elands. The park is also a birder’s paradise with over 475 species recorded.

Getting to Kidepo Valley NP

By Road

The journey from Kampala to Kidepo takes approximately 10-12 hours via Katakwi. We recommend overnight stops in Soroti or Katakwi.

By Air

Charter flights are available from Entebbe to Katakwi Airstrip:
