Uganda can be visited year-round, but the best wildlife viewing is during the dry seasons:

  • December to February

    Short dry season, excellent for gorilla trekking and wildlife viewing

  • June to September

    Long dry season, ideal for all activities with minimal rain

  • March to May, October to November

    Rainy seasons, fewer tourists and lush landscapes, but some roads may be difficult
